I am actually quite proud of myself with this look. For someone who is not a big fan of color, I really enjoyed styling this dress. Who would have ever thought Ingrid would rock an orange dress? Did I mention I actually wore this outfit to MET Museum? Yea, I was probably being a little extra but who cares right? I apologize to all the museum visitors who was distracted by my extraness (lol).
I've had this slip dress since the beginning of summer and only now am I showing it on the blog. The reason for that would probably be the color of this dress. As you all know, my safe zone is always black and white. This rusty orange color was quite intimidating to me and I didn't really know how to style it. Of course I ended up pairing it with black pieces, no surprise there.
Since I'm already going all out, I decided to add this velvet purse from Zaful. What I love about this bag is the braided green strap. It really adds a unique detail to the bag that makes it stand out. Another great feature on this bag is that you can style it any way you want. You can style it as a messenger, a shoulder bag, or just to carry like a tiny briefcase.
